The host
Hello — I'm Rauf.
I own both YourRetreat units at i-City and I run them myself. When you message about a booking, the reply is coming from me, not from an agency looking after forty apartments across the Klang Valley.
Two units, not twenty. One in Hyde Tower and one in Liberty Tower, both inside i-City, both in the blocks nearest the bridge into the mall. I know which lift is slow, which bay is yours and what's actually in the kitchen drawer. If something breaks while you're staying, you're telling the person who comes and fixes it, not logging a ticket.
They've been let to guests for years now — long enough that the Hyde listing still carries a note from the days when everyone had to show a vaccination certificate at the door. Most of that has come through Airbnb, and the reviews are there for anyone who wants to read them. But a steady number of people message me directly instead, usually the ones coming back a second or third time. This site is here so anyone can do that from the start rather than working out how to reach me.
How I run them
Check-in is yours to do, from 3pm, with a lockbox. I'd rather you let yourself in at midnight after a late flight than sit in a car park waiting for me to drive over. The code, your parking bay and the way into i-City all come through before you travel.
Both units stay on Airbnb and I'm not taking them off. Plenty of people prefer booking that way, and those reviews took years to earn. Booking direct just means the conversation starts with me.
The other name
You may see these two apartments under YR Homestay as well — it's on some of the photographs and profiles. Same units, same person.
Reaching me
WhatsApp is fastest, and it's how the direct bookings happen. Send your dates, how many of you there are, and which unit if you have a preference.
